Gladiator
Digital OnlyCommunity Format
Gladiator is a 100-card singleton format exclusive to MTG Arena. Unlike Commander, there's no commander—just 100 unique cards and raw deckbuilding skill. The format combines the strategic depth of singleton with the card pool of Historic, creating a unique competitive experience.
Gladiator emerged in 2020 as a community-created format for MTG Arena, offering singleton gameplay without the commander mechanic.
