Oathbreaker
Community Format
Oathbreaker is a multiplayer singleton format where your commander is a planeswalker paired with a Signature Spell—an instant or sorcery that lives in the command zone alongside your Oathbreaker. The format offers faster games than Commander with unique strategic depth from the Signature Spell mechanic.
Oathbreaker was created in 2017 by the Oathbreaker Rules Committee as a faster alternative to Commander, featuring planeswalkers as commanders and the unique Signature Spell mechanic.
