Pre-EDH
Community Format
Pre-EDH (or Primordial EDH) is Commander played with the original rules from before 2011. This means the original mulligan rule, original commander damage rules, and other vintage Commander quirks that have since been updated.
Pre-EDH exists to preserve the original Commander experience before various rules changes modernized the format.

Commander Rules
- Commander must be a legendary creature
- Commander starts in the command zone
- Original 'general damage' rules apply
- Uses original partial Paris mulligan
Deck Construction
- Exactly 100 cards including your commander
- Singleton: only 1 copy of each card (except basic lands)
- All cards must match commander's color identity
Gameplay
Mulligan Rule
Partial Paris: Draw 7 cards. You may exile any number of cards and draw that many minus one. Repeat as desired, shuffling exiled cards into library afterward.
