Sealed Deck
Limited Format
Sealed Deck is a limited format where each player opens 6 booster packs and builds a 40+ card deck from those cards plus basic lands. It's a test of deck building and making the most of your card pool, with no draft portion.
Sealed Deck has been a staple of Magic since the early days, used for Prereleases and major tournament day-one events.

Deck Construction
- Open 6 booster packs
- Minimum 40 cards in deck
- Basic lands provided separately
- All opened cards form your sideboard
Gameplay
- Build your deck from opened cards
- Typically 17 lands, 23 spells
- Remaining cards are your sideboard
Mulligan Rule
Draw 7 cards. You may mulligan any number of times, drawing 7 each time. After keeping, put cards equal to the number of mulligans taken on the bottom of your library.
